Fun at the Fair

"He will restore the hearts of the fathers to their children and the hearts of the children to their fathers..." Malachi 4:6

One of the many things I took away from a recent homeschooling mom's retreat, is to enjoy my children. I get caught up in the daily tasks and neglect relationships. Last night, we surprised Madison and Chas by taking them to fair. As we were going from ride to ride, I realized, instead of enjoying this time with my family, I was fulfilling my agenda. Argh!! Even with the fun activities, my mind is thinking of it as a task. So I "lightened up" and played with my children. Here are a few pictures.
