Christmas Season Wrap Up

Here's a glimpse of what was happening during our holiday season.

Doesn't everyone include Tigger? We visited Disney World in October but I thought it was such a cute shot so I included in our Christmas card anyway.
Christmas Recitals
For her violin solo, Madison played a chorus from Judas Maccabaeus. She continues to improve.
Chas with his choir buddy, Isaac. In addition to their songs, the children recited Luke 2:8-15. Chas was standing right in front of the microphone and used his projecting voice so everyone knew he got it right.
Madison articulated her words like a professional singer.
Homemade gifts
These are the gifts the children made and gave this year.

Dinner at our home with Mike's family and Page's family. (Sorry, forgot to pull out the camera.)
Trip to Nana and Paw Paw's
Nana took the children to observe the deer from a hunting stand. As they were heading to the stand, Chas was able to sneak up on two deer. She now calls the kids her Indian scouts. They saw a total of 10 deer in an hour. I was told Chas did an impressive job of being still and quiet during that time. So why can't he do that during church?

Snowing?
Fifty six degrees and it's snowing at the zoo? Well, it's a machine that shoots out foam, but the kids were almost as excited. It's probably the closest we will get to the white stuff.
