Prayer Update-Josiah
Note: Original post
From the family....
Josiah was rushed to All Children's Hospital in Tampa this morning. He was exhibiting the same symptoms this morning as he did in November when he was first diagnosed with the tumor. He was throwing up and had lost his sense of balance and the use of his left side. We received the MRI results late this afternoon. There is alot of fluid surrounding the tumor and they are considering putting in a shunt to relieve the pressure. At this time, that is all we know.
Your prayers would be appreciated.

"We received the results of Josiah's MRI today. The results were not good. The tumor has increased 40 % to 50%since June. There is a good possibility that Josiah will undergo surgery tomorrow to put in a shunt to relieve some of the pressure. Please pray for healing, comfort, peace & wisdom."
8/26/05 Update
On 8/19 shunt was placed with success and Josiah was able to return home. He will be undergoing chemo again as soon as his blood counts are normalized in hopes of extending his life.
