The Wonderful Way We Celebrate Christmas

Hello! Welcome to our household. I’m Madison and this is my brother Chas.

It’s Christmas! Yesterday we went to our grandparents house to open presents from family. Now we’re trying to get downstairs without looking in the … “Chas don’t look!” … the den.

Now we’re in Mom and Dad’s room. It’s seven o’clock so we can wake them up. “Go ahead Chas.”

“Ok... Wake up. Get up…”

Yes, Mom and Dad love this.

“Chas, that’s enough.”

The next part is torture. While Dad tries to get the video recorder to work (which seems like it takes hours) we have to…

“Madison what’s that in the den?”

“I don’t know, Chas. Don’t look.”

“Dad, come on.”

Here he comes.

“I think we’re ready…ok you guys ready to see what you got?”

“Yeah!”

“Are you excited?”

“Yeah!”

“Ok, go in”

“Yea!”

We immediately run to see what we got. We get three gifts from our parents, our stocking, and gifts under the tree from friends.

There’s the doorbell!

Our grandparents are here to see our new stuff! It also means we get to eat Happy Birthday Jesus cake! We eat breakfast with are grandparents and then they leave. But soon we’ll go to their house to have Christmas dinner with extended family.

And that’s the wonderful way we celebrate Christmas!
