Re-evaluate and Refocus

It's been quiet in my blog world the past several weeks. The children are moving into different stages in their development and I am trying to stay one step ahead. Also, I am realizing I have some adjustments which need to be made in me to be a better wife and mother, both of which greatly impact the entire family.

Here's some books and CD's I have been pondering:

How to Develop Character in Your Children, an audio from Dr. S. M. Davis' sermon. Character study tends to be at the bottom of our schooling list. It's now at the top for the entire family.

What to Expect from a Twelve Year Old, another audio from Dr. S.M. Davis' sermon. This message is on the seven character qualities of Jesus by the time he was twelve based on Luke 2. With Jesus as the standard, we now have different expectations and goals for this age.

Say Goodbye to Whining, Complaining, and Bad Attitudes in You and Your Kids
I am to blame??? Hard pill to swallow. Great book on showing and teaching honor.

Created to Be His Help Meet is a must read for any married, Bible believing, Christian woman, especially for those of us who have been influenced by the feminist mentality. My attitudes on marriage and my role as wife has been completely and utterly wrong. What a difference a Christlike perception can make!
