Changes for the New Year
Time to re-evaluate and make some changes. Here's what I am tweaking:
- Work up to drinking 6-8 glasses of water per day with the intentions of eliminating my daily Diet Coke habit.
- Aerobic and weight bearing exercise 3-4 times per week, consistently, with consistently being the key word.
- Continue to learn to practice Love and Respect (a new concept for me) especially focusing on the Rewarded Cycle.
As usual, whenever I begin a new plan, I am filled with enthusiasm and eagerness. After several days, reality sets in. Soreness, fatigue, forgetfulness, and just plain life begin to test my will! I'm uncomfortable and inconvenienced. It takes work to reprogram and work against my flesh and body. But if I continue, if I stick with the plan the Lord has laid before me, relying on His strength, I will reap the benefits, whether it be here or heaven. Especially looking forward with great anticipation what the Lord will continue to do with Love and Respect. I have been amazed so far.
"And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light." Colossians 1:10-12
