Count Your Many Blessings
"Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endure forever." Psalm 118:1
In the month of November, we have made a construction paper Thanksgiving Tree and display it in our kitchen. It starts off bare, with no leaves. Every evening at dinner time, each person takes a autumn colored, construction paper leaf and writes down something in which they are thankful. The leaf is then added to the tree (or ground, or air). As the month of November progresses our tree is overflowing with leaves just as our blessings have been overflowing.
This year Madison wanted to do something different, so instead we have converted our hand and foot print turkeys to Thankful Turkeys. We count our blessings on our fingers, I mean, feathers now.
Notice Madison's turkey (bottom left) is almost as big as my turkey (top right). They grow so fast!
