Riddle
What do you get when you take
25 familes with a similar family vision,
set them up camping in a field for a weekend,
play flag football, soccer, ultimate freesbie, and capture the flag from 7:00a.m. until 10:30p.m. (practically),
discuss the Women of the Reformation at a mother-daughter tea,
and spend the evenings gathered around a campfire singing, sharing and making s'mores?
A blissfully exhausting weekend filled with blessings and encouragement.
A few memories I want to hang on to...
Parents telling us about their children telling them "Chas stories".
Madison playing with her special friend Susannah Joy.
Yukon billy and his Psalms 119 challenge.
The teenagers looking out for and including the younger children.
Waking up to ice on the tent and in the cooking pots.
Chas playing flag football and soccer with gusto and right in the middle of the big kids.
Alex and three other men singing in harmony around the campfire.
Madison and I sitting together at the mother-daughter tea.
Trying to keep warm. ;-)
