Silver Jubilee-Spring Ballet Recital

"To the Glory of God, in celebration of 25 years of dancing for Him, Briarwood Ballet present(ed) it's Silver Jubilee".

The spring performances of our ballet is used to "present an allegorical message concerning the character of our loving God and His redemptive work on our behalf". This year's performance was a snippet of four of ballets from past years.

This was Madison's first year to perform in the major production of our church's ballet ministry. She was one of the hoop dancers in the Nightingale and the Rose. This ballet "communicates the message of God's love in providing through the blood of Christ the ncecessary covering for our sin in order to rescue us from the grip of the King of Darkness." (Revelation 1:5)

As for her performance, my how she has matured in the last year! She was responsible and dependable, as she led her group of dancers through several line changes. She was confident, as she was able to perform the dance without hesistation or watching others. I was so pleased to see how the Lord has used ballet to develop her. All glory and honor belong to Him.
